I can often provide a provisional estimate based on photographs. However, if this is not possible I will make a site visit to view furniture in order to provide the most accurate view of the work required and the likely cost.
Most work is done at my well-equipped workshop but I also undertake site work where a piece is too large to move or needs on-site restoration for some other reason.
Since I charge on the basis of time and materials you will always pay a fair rate.
